Note to Decimus: Personal Survival Techniques; Expect the unexpected.
Centcomm 17th Oct 2012, 9:16 PM edit delete reply

me thinks hes a bit wrapped up in what hes doing..
cattservant 17th Oct 2012, 9:21 PM edit delete reply

The secondary brain does tend to have limited input capacity...

Oh, and Hooray for Dollywould!!!
Draginbeard 17th Oct 2012, 9:28 PM edit delete reply

She better hit hard, often, and not miss!
Centcomm 18th Oct 2012, 3:56 AM edit delete reply

love the new avatar Dagin ! and yes thats what shes thinking hit hard , fast and put him down.
Sleel 18th Oct 2012, 6:02 AM edit delete reply

Having to think it wont be nearly hard enough. Forehand swing rather then reaching back behind to the right really shortens the swing and any momentum buildup. Grabbed in middle rather then near light end is gonna also reduce the swing hit. Wastes the potential momentum of the heavy end. Unless she can get a bunch of quick hits in, have a bad feeling wont be enough. But if princess recovers from the punch enuff to hold him down some, between the two might be able to compensate for what looks like a too light swing. Unless she lucks into hitting vertebrae and it all being moot. :}
Centcomm 18th Oct 2012, 6:35 AM edit delete reply

You do realize, shes never wanted to kill anyone before? and not everyone thinks totally clearly in the heat of things , is this the right way to do this? :D she just wants to stop the bad man!
Sleel 18th Oct 2012, 8:16 AM edit delete reply

Yeah. Also thinking she kinda has to fail or all the rest of the rescue part of the story kinda becomes moot. x] If they won here all of a sudden it'd be like 'rocks fall, everybody dies' kinda thing. To quick. Then what would the rest of the cast do? Just the old physics geek in me looking at things from that perspective. To bad she dun have her 'psychlocke sword' anymore. Bet 'that' would tickle his fancy and give them more options. Be fun to watch him twitch. mwahahahahahahahaha >:} \o/ *whispers as if in confidence:: can you tell I don't like him?*
Centcomm 18th Oct 2012, 8:23 AM edit delete reply

Hey .. I created this basdage .. and I hate him.

*** If she killed him the rescue crews would be rather surprised. I think Cent-Comm might short herself in disbelief

*** Edit 2 considering the noise Tazer-blades make - it would have ruined her attmept to stop it.
CyberSkull 17th Oct 2012, 10:20 PM edit delete reply

My Latin is rusty, but isn't "-us" the masculine declension? Shouldn't his pejorative end with "-a"?
Dianna Silver 17th Oct 2012, 11:46 PM edit delete reply

Yes, feminine nouns and adjectives that describe a female tend to end with -a in Latin. However . . . I'll give them some slack. We don't *know* what rules there are for this language per se since what we're probably looking at is some far future generation's attempt to resurrect Latin long after the world's gone *boom* and probably long after actual knowledge of Latin has faded off into the mists of history.
Centcomm 18th Oct 2012, 3:55 AM edit delete reply

Thank you Dianna - yeah we did do some research - but "lingual drift" is to blame .. yeah .. thats my story and we are sticking to it ...Rose did the look up and such and normally shes pretty darn good but we arent lingusts :P
Tokyo Rose 18th Oct 2012, 2:45 PM edit delete reply

Future Latin was clearly back-figured by researching ancient records in virtual format*, as well as the need to revive it from a "dead" language to an updated one, and therefore isn't going to be accurate to the original.

*Assume they looked it up through online translation dictionaries the same way we did; as noted, we're not linguists :D
CyberSkull 22nd Oct 2012, 1:05 PM edit delete reply

As long as the Latin lesson scene in The Life of Brian survives then they will have a good chance of getting it right. ;p
Rashala 17th Oct 2012, 10:20 PM edit delete reply

Femalre reproductive organ Slang word I will not repeat

Centcomm 18th Oct 2012, 3:57 AM edit delete reply

good because if you had translated it - I would have asked you to edit it .. mayhaps we should have used a word that wasnt translatable?
Tokyo Rose 18th Oct 2012, 9:17 PM edit delete reply

Odd place to draw the line on swearing, but then, I consider it the Final Nuke myself :D
Marcus Ramesy 17th Oct 2012, 11:37 PM edit delete reply

Centcomm 18th Oct 2012, 3:58 AM edit delete reply

cattservant 18th Oct 2012, 6:48 AM edit delete reply

And it's a long way from being over too!
Hornet 18th Oct 2012, 6:24 AM edit delete reply

Kanela 17th Oct 2012, 11:46 PM edit delete reply

MUAHAHAHAHA!! Do it, Lynn. DO IT!! >:D
Centcomm 18th Oct 2012, 3:58 AM edit delete reply

Damn right ! ( welcome back ! )
Death2Bravo 18th Oct 2012, 1:03 AM edit delete reply

I know Roman Legionaries used to call a guy not up to snuff "cunnus" back in the day so maybe it's improper usage because it is slang. Cunnus also occasionally referred to any noncombatants. Literal slang Translation is "dickless"
Centcomm 18th Oct 2012, 3:59 AM edit delete reply

- Again we did do the research but we arent perfect .. :P
LooeyQ 18th Oct 2012, 3:12 AM edit delete reply

You know, I think I remember commenting that on multiple other pages? His name was Ramsey Marcus, or Gordon Ramsey, or Mark Wahlberg, or something like that.
cattservant 18th Oct 2012, 6:51 AM edit delete reply

I wonder if the English language will have as long term an influence as Latin?
Centcomm 18th Oct 2012, 8:15 AM edit delete reply

well I hope so!
cattservant 18th Oct 2012, 8:21 AM edit delete reply

Well I,for one, am getting too old to learn a new one!
Centcomm 18th Oct 2012, 8:57 AM edit delete reply

Just a side note ; "Standard" the language most everyone is speaking ( instead of english ) is a mish mash of ligual drift and words made up of dozens of launguages mostly English , Spanish , Japanese, and a few others.
KarToon12 18th Oct 2012, 7:48 AM edit delete reply

I love that line:

"Who is that? I can't see...doesn't matter. F*ck him up."

Centcomm 18th Oct 2012, 8:15 AM edit delete reply

Rashala 18th Oct 2012, 3:24 PM edit delete reply

Yeah we all see where it's Heading.
cattservant 18th Oct 2012, 8:21 PM edit delete reply

But we must wait and not get ahead of ourselves.
At this point we are at the mercy of certain artistic individuals who have been known to appear on quite unexpected vectors!

On a side note; It would be of great interest to coordinate timelines and see where the various Dramatis Personae are at right about now.
Centcomm 18th Oct 2012, 8:23 PM edit delete reply

We do like to keep people guessing :D
But I adore hearing you guys dicsussing it , so keep at it!
cattservant 18th Oct 2012, 8:30 PM edit delete reply

I have 2 sisters, and both of them have been raped. I myself would do a lot more to Deck than she will, and I am a Retired Veteran.Think about it,would you kill the Man sexually abusing a friend?
Some Ed 2nd Jun 2017, 4:39 AM edit delete reply
If Lynn manages to kill him here, the story would go on. We'd just be surprised to learn the kidnapping was Acantha's plan the whole time, and this was just the moment she chose to seize power, as little did we know, she comes of age tomorrow.
